AQUASOMA® Essentials Specialist certification
AQUASOMA® Intro
Intro is a two-day total immersion to discover the basic principles and techniques of Aquasoma®, in a safe and inspiring learning environment.
The work focuses on mobilizing the cervical and dorsal spine, freeing the breath and relieving tension in the back.
Course format: face-to-face training (~ 2 days), online lessons and self-directed activities at home

AQUASOMA® Foundation
By the end of this module you will be able to deliver a comprehensive Aquasoma® session focused on the mental and physical well-being of your recipient, with a specific focus on techniques that facilitate the self-regulation of the central nervous system to calm excessive mental activity, while on the physical level we focus on the mobility of the spine, extending the work to the upper and lower limbs as well. The result for the recipient is an experience of deep calm and tranquility.
By the end of this module you will be able to deliver a comprehensive Aquasoma® session focused on the mental and physical well-being of your recipient, with a specific focus on techniques that facilitate the self-regulation of the central nervous system to calm excessive mental activity, while on the physical level we focus on the mobility of the spine, extending the work to the upper and lower limbs as well. The result for the recipient is an experience of deep calm and tranquility.

AQUASOMA® Essentials Private Class
By the end of this module you will be able to deliver a comprehensive Aquasoma® session focused on the mental and physical well-being of your recipient, with a specific focus on techniques that facilitate the self-regulation of the central nervous system to calm excessive mental activity, while on the physical level we focus on the mobility of the spine, extending the work to the upper and lower limbs as well. The result for the recipient is an experience of deep calm and tranquility.

The private class, formerly known as Supervision, is a one-on-one class with an Assistant Instructor or an Instructor for you to assess your level of competence, clarify doubts and hone your skills in preparation for the next steps of your training.
You can take a private lesson at any time during the training and we strongly recommend that you do so.
However it is compulsory to take one private class and receive a positive evaluation before registering to the Aquasoma® Essentials Specialist exam.
At the end of this private class you will have a very detailed list of actions to improve on and achieve the level of attainment expected to pass the Aquasoma® Essentials Specialist exam.
Course format: face-to-face training (an hour and a half) and self-managed activities at home

Practicum AQUASOMA®
By the end of this module you will be able to deliver a comprehensive Aquasoma® session focused on the mental and physical well-being of your recipient, with a specific focus on techniques that facilitate the self-regulation of the central nervous system to calm excessive mental activity, while on the physical level we focus on the mobility of the spine, extending the work to the upper and lower limbs as well. The result for the recipient is an experience of deep calm and tranquility.

These are free (unpaid) practice sessions for you to practice and explore in a friendly context with your full set of Aquasoma® skills.
By practising with fellow students you will take advantage of receiving their detailed feedback.
Obligatory:
to complete the Intro module, minimum 4 Aquasoma® practices, 2 of which with volunteers of your choice. In any case no more than 2 practices with the same model.
to complete the Foundation module, minimum 6 Aquasoma® practices, 3 of which with volunteers of your choice. In any case no more than 2 practices with the same model.
Course format: one-on-one practice (45 min per session)
Number of credits: included in the Intro module 0.20 AECS, in the Foundation 0.30 AECS

AQUASOMA® experience sessions

The result for the recipient is an experience of deep calm and tranquility.

Sessions you must receive from a Professional who will give you the opportunity to experience for yourself what you will soon be offering to your clients/patients.
Obligatory: 2 sessions to be received from qualified Aquasoma® Specialists (or, where not available, from MKS Watsu Advanced Professionals).
Course format: individual sessions (45 min per session)

AQUASOMA® Essentials Specialist exam

The result for the recipient is an experience of deep calm and tranquility.
You will be able to demonstrate your comptence during 2 practical sessions that you will give to two instructors, after passing the online preparatory test.
Course format: 2 one-to-one practice sessions (90 min per session) and online preparatory test.
Number of credits: 0.15 AECS

Aquasoma® Intro module with positive final evaluation.
Aquasoma® Foundation module with positive final evaluation.
Aquasoma® Essentials private class with positive final evaluation.
Practicum completed.
Experience sessions completed.
