DESCRIPTION OF THE NEW ONLINE WATSU COURSE: AQUASOMA INTRO
Aquasoma® Intro: your gateway into the world of somatic aquatic bodywork.

Pool requirements for the practices of your online watsu course:
To practice the techniques, we recommend finding a pool or spa with heated water (33-34ºC - 91.4-93.2 ºF) and a depth of 100 to 125 cm (between 3' 3" and 4' 1"), depending on your height.
The pool can be shared with other users, but avoid areas with water jets to keep the water as calm as possible.
For optimal practice, invite a friend to be your receiver, provide honest feedback, and support you during the required practice sessions.

On this website, the terms "therapy" and "therapeutic" may be used with different meanings. When we refer to "therapy" or "therapeutic treatment" in a strict sense, we mean treatments provided exclusively by licensed professionals, such as physical therapists or other healthcare specialists, in full compliance with the laws of each country.
In other contexts, we use the terms "therapeutic" and "therapy" in a broader sense, referring to practices and experiences that, while not medical treatments, contribute to mental, emotional, and inner well-being. Simple moments—like a heartfelt conversation with friends that lifts your spirits or a comforting hug that soothes the heart—may not be "therapy" in a legal or medical sense, but they can still have a profoundly positive impact on our well-being. These experiences remind us that quality of life is built through human connections and the feeling of being seen and supported. Sometimes, what is "therapeutic" is simply what makes us feel alive, understood, and at peace with ourselves—without intending to replace medical treatments or encroach upon the field of medicine.
A course unlike anything you've seen before!
Aquasoma® prepares you from the very start to deliver personalized and effective sessions, without unnecessary steps. Unlike the traditional Watsu method, which relies on memorizing a long sequence only to later move away from it, Aquasoma® represents an evolution towards a more agile, intuitive approach that aligns with modern needs.
