Yves Delattre

Yves Delattre is a Watsu instructor and Aquasoma instructor internationally renowned, with a unique career combining art, movement, and human contact. If he had to create a business card for himself, he would simply write: Player. It was in fact through play—and the stage—that his professional career began: theater, dance, music, and singing were intertwined in his early artistic experiences.

Driven by a deep interest in conscious touch, he starts studying shiatsu, then other techniques of holistic massage, eventually specializing in traditional thai massage, which he studied in depth in Canada and Thailand. He practices and teaches it in various countries, bringing his physical sensitivity and attention to detail with him wherever he goes.

Yves Delattre's journey in aquatic bodywork

A decisive encounter comes with his first session of aquatic bodywork: a dancer friend accompanies him into the water, and the experience transforms him. At that moment, Yves Delattre realizes he has found his true home.

Since then, physical techniques in water have become the focus of his work. He specializes in the main disciplines, both on the surface (as Watsu) and underwater (as Healing Dance, WaTa and other underwater activities). Today, he is a popular Watsu and Aquasoma instructor, active in over ten countries.

Multilingual and nomadic, Yves Delattre passionately conveys his knowledge and his aesthetic and technical approach to bodywork in water. In his courses and workshops, he shares the beauty of movement, the precision of gesture, and the pleasure of continuous research. His lessons are experiences that connect the body, water, and the joy of living.
